IPT introduces the world's first oil to air heat exchanger for Volkswagen 01M transmissions.

The exchanger replaces the inefficient OEM system, which is attempting to cool the transmission fluid with engine coolant that is nearly 200 degrees.

Our testing has shown dramatic reductions in transmission operating temperatures, increased service life and improvements in shift consistency by using ambient air coupled with a high flow, low pressure drop stacked plate cooler rather than the factory system.

Our kit includes the 14,400 BTU transmission cooler, all related mounting hardware, custom fittings for the transmission and high pressure / high temperature push lock hose.
