IPT has the ultimate torque converter upgrade for your Dodge Cummins. The factory torque converter is lacking in terms of reliability. With features like billet front covers and custom designed stators, your new IPT converter will greatly enhance reliability. Our Diesel Series converter lowers stall speed. The stock converter stall speed is set well above the engine’s torque peak which wastes usable power, and even worse, turns it into transmission heat. IPT lowers the converter stall speed to take advantage of your engine’s peak torque which results in increased towing ability, better fuel economy, reduced transmission temperatures and better power and acceleration throughout the power band.
