This an excellent choice for those looking for increased holding capacity while maintain stock like driveability. The ACT Heavy Duty Pressure Plate is an excellent combination of increased torque holding and pedal feel for most daily driven cars. The HD pressure plate provides 20-50% increase in clamp loading while creating only a moderate increase in pedal feel thanks to ACT's special, single diaphragm design. ACT's Performance Street friction surface is SFI certified and is an excellent choice for modified, street driven cars and race cars. The SS disc provides quicker engagement than a stock surface and is quiet compared to other, more aggressive, friction surfaces. The sprung hub uses bushings and cone springs similar to OEM clutch discs; this creates frictional dampening that improves clutch life and reduces noise.
This clutch can support 383ft-lbs of torque. It includes Pressure Plate, Disc, and Alignment Tool.
